Tony Cunha, the managing partner of the firm, provides advice on complex tax issues such as trusts, estates, mergers and acquisitions, and expatriate taxation. Tony holds a CPA license in Washington, and an MBA from the University of Washington. Tony was a Principal for several years with Capstone CPAs LLC in Bend Oregon. In addition, for more than 25 years, Tony held key leadership positions in the automotive industry including opening operations, initiating native and parent supply chains, and finding, qualifying, and supporting distributors in Brazil for a Fortune 100 company. Tony speaks several languages, including Portuguese and Spanish.
Kathy Cunha provides tax and business consulting for our clients. Her background includes 15 years as a senior manager in the corporate accounting offices of PACCAR Inc., a Fortune 200 company. In addition to owning her own business, Kathy was a Senior Manager for more than 10 years at AKT LLP, one of Oregon’s largest regional CPA firms, specializing in healthcare, not-for-profit and government entities. Kathy has provided on-site Controller and CFO services to hospitals, clinics, construction companies, land developers, distributors and more. Her expertise includes fraud prevention and business process improvements. She holds a CPA license in Oregon and Washington, is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
Jeanne holds a CPA License in Washington, Oregon and California, and has been serving the tax needs of the business community and business owners of Sequim for more than 20 years. Prior to her move to Sequim in 1995, Jeanne worked with a technology start-up in the Bay area. During her time there, the company flourished and grew more than 500% in profits. Jeanne also received her MS in Taxation from Golden Gate University in 2001. Jeanne’s focus includes the non-profit organizations that serve Sequim and its surrounds. Jeanne has served in leadership capacities with Soroptimists, the Sequim Education Foundation, Port Angeles Fine Arts Center, and other organizations focused on empowering the youth in our community.
